1. Who We Are
Osooli is operated by Ahmad Abu Shirbi, UAE. We are committed to protecting your personal data and being transparent about how we use it.
2. What We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, plus data generated automatically as you use Osooli.
- Account information: name and email address provided at signup.
- Financial data: holdings, transactions, real estate, budgets, and other data you enter manually.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, and error logs — collected to improve the service.
- Payment data: billing information processed by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
3. How We Use Your Data
We do not sell your data to third parties, and we do not use your financial data for advertising.
- To provide and improve the Osooli service.
- To process your subscription and send billing-related emails.
- To generate AI-powered summaries of financial news (Pro feature) — ticker data is sent to Google Gemini; no personal account data is included.
- To communicate service updates and important notices.
4. Third-Party Services
We rely on a small set of trusted providers to run Osooli. None of them are permitted to sell your data.
- Supabase — database and authentication (servers in the US/EU).
- Vercel — hosting and deployment (servers globally).
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Google Gemini — AI news summaries (Pro only; only stock tickers are sent, not personal data).
- Yahoo Finance / market data providers — live price feeds.
5. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in a secured Supabase database with row-level security — meaning each user can only access their own data. We use HTTPS for all data in transit. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel only.
6. Your Rights
You’re in control of your data at every step.
- Access: view all your data inside the app at any time.
- Deletion: request full deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing hello@osooli.app.
- Correction: update your profile and financial data directly in the app.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.
8. Cookies
We use session cookies solely to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the service evolves. We will notify you by email or in-app notice before material changes take effect.
